Prior to this episode the programme was called *The Phantom Pyramid* which had run on CJSR FM88 since 1995, which was itself the successor to my three-year run on *The United Nation of Hip Hop*. In 2004, DJ Bongbiemi the Original Tribesman and I merged our programmes (his was called *Asiko Africa*). The first theme was cooking... and I cook in real-time from my own kitchen during the episode.

THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION
Speeches by and interviews with (and by) Minister Faust
ASIKO PHANTOM PYRAMID:
There is no such thing as "African music," singular. Instead there are Afrikan MUSICS, plural: a planetary panoply of supreme styles, from ancient times to astro rhymes, from acoustic to electronic, from Algeria to Zimbabwe, Togo to Tobago, and led by a headcharge of hip hop!
